BLACKLISTED DETAILING
Privacy Policy.
Effective November 5, 2026 · Knoxville, Tennessee, United States
Scope and contact
This Privacy Policy describes how BLACKLISTED Detailing (“BLACKLISTED,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information in connection with our website, detailing services, customer accounts, bookings and support conversations. For privacy questions or requests, email BlacklistedDetailing@proton.me or open a private support ticket.
Information we collect
Information you provide may include your name, email address, phone number, account credentials, vehicle year, make and model, saved vehicle details, service selections, requested appointment times, pickup and return addresses, booking notes, photographs, support messages and supporting documentation. Photographs may contain vehicle identifiers or other information visible in the image. Please provide only information relevant to your request.
We also maintain booking references, service history, completed-detail status, promotions, unlockable benefits, appointment communications, policy acknowledgments, payment references, invoice balances and payment status. Hosting and security systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, request logs, browser details and short-lived identifiers used to prevent abuse.
How information is used
We use information to respond to inquiries; prepare vehicle-specific estimates; arrange, confirm and perform services; manage pickup and return; operate accounts and saved vehicles; administer promotions and unlockables; process deposits and remaining-balance invoices; provide customer support; evaluate documented service concerns; prevent misuse and fraud; keep appropriate business records; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Vehicle pricing categories are matched from the information entered and the available vehicle guide. When a vehicle cannot be confidently matched, its category and price require review. Service communications are transactional and do not enroll you in a marketing subscription.
Payments and invoices
Square processes card payments and provides invoice payment pages. We do not store your complete payment-card number or card security code in our database. We receive information needed to associate a payment with your booking, including provider references, amounts, currency, status and the policy acknowledgment. Square may create a customer or invoice record using the contact information required to process your transaction. Square’s handling of payment information is described in its customer privacy notice.
Storage, access and safeguards
We maintain customer records in a secure database protected by access controls and use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled. Account passwords are stored as password hashes rather than readable passwords. Administrative functions require authorized access. Booking photographs and support documentation are restricted to the relevant private record and authorized users. These safeguards reduce risk; no system can promise absolute security.
Keep your password and private booking, payment, account-recovery and support links confidential. Possession of a private link may allow its holder to access the associated record. Contact us if you believe someone has obtained access without permission.
Service providers and disclosures
We share information as reasonably necessary with providers that operate the website and secure storage, deliver service emails, supply vehicle suggestions, or process payments and invoices. Resend delivers transactional emails; its practices are described in its privacy policy. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or lawful process, investigate misuse, address a payment dispute, protect rights or safety, or complete a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not publish customer contact details, booking photographs or support messages as part of our public portfolio. Public portfolio photographs and descriptions are managed separately.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses essential sign-in and security cookies and may remember preferences such as your music choice in browser storage. It does not use advertising trackers or website analytics trackers. Square and other services opened from the website may use their own cookies and security technologies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or other account features from working.
Support conversations and communications
Support messages and any attached documentation are stored with the ticket. We email staff about new tickets and customer messages, and email the ticket address when we reply. Signed-in customers can access tickets created under their account. Guest access requires a private link. Entering an email address or phone number in the recovery form requests a link sent to the ticket’s email address; it does not disclose the conversation to the person entering those details.
Retention and your choices
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining your account, handling support and disputes, meeting recordkeeping obligations and protecting legitimate business interests. Retention may vary by record type and legal requirement. Information that is no longer needed will be deleted or de-identified in accordance with applicable requirements and operational safeguards.
You may update saved vehicles through your account or contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights, including obtaining a copy of certain information or appealing a decision on a privacy request. We may reasonably verify identity and authority before responding. Some information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution reasons. We will explain any applicable limitation when responding. Nothing in this policy restricts rights that applicable law gives you.
Children and third-party services
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and address it. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Updates
We may revise this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially changing how information is used.
